أجهل الناس
أَجْهَلُ النَّاسِ مُسِيءٌ مُسْتَأْنَفٌ
An unremorseful sinner is the most ignorant person

أَجْهَلُ النَّاسِ الْمُغْتَرُّ بِقَوْلِ مَادِحٍ مُتَمَلِّقٍ يُحَسِّنُ لَهُ الْقَبِيحَ وَيُبَغِّضُ إِلَيْهِ النَّصِيحَ
The most ignorant person is one who is deceived by the praise of a flatterer who makes the ugly look appealing to him and makes him hate the [sincere] adviser

أَعْظَمُ الْجَهْلِ مُعَادَاةُ الْقَادِرِ وَمُصَادَقَةُ الْفَاجِرِ وَالثِّقَةُ بِالْغَادِرِ
The greatest ignorance is making enmity with the powerful, befriending the immoral and trusting the traitor

مَنِ اصْطَنَعَ جَاهِلًا بَرْهَنَ عَنْ وُفُورِ جَهْلِهِ
One who favours an ignorant person demonstrates the extent of his own ignorance

تَكَثُّرُكَ بِمَا لَا يَبْقَى لَكَ وَلَا تَبْقَى لَهُ مِنْ أَعْظَمِ الْجَهْلِ
Amassing that which does not last for you and for which you will not remain is from the greatest ignorance
