آثار متفرقة للشك
الْمُرِيبُ أَبَداً عَلِيلٌ
The suspicious person is always sick

الْبَرِيءُ صَحِيحٌ وَالْمُرِيبُ عَلِيلٌ
The innocent one is healthy, the suspicious one is sick

الشَّكُّ يُطْفِئُ نُورَ الْقَلْبِ [الْقُلُوبِ]
Doubt puts out the light of the heart

إِذَا ظَهَرَتِ الرِّيبَةُ سَاءَتِ الظُّنُونُ
When suspicion appears, thoughts [about others] become negative

عَلَى الشَّكِّ وَقِلَّةِ الثِّقَةِ بِاللَّهِ مَبْنَى الْحِرْصِ وَالشُّحِّ
It is on doubt and lack of trust in Allah that greed and avarice are based

مَنْ يَتَرَدَّدْ يَزْدَدْ شَكّاً
One who falters increases his doubt

لَا يُلْفَى [لَا يُلْقَى] الْمُرِيبُ صَحِيحاً
The suspicious one is never found in a sound state

مَنْ عَمِيَ عَمَّا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ غَرَسَ الشَّكَّ بَيْنَ جَنْبَيْهِ
One who is blind to that which is in front of him instils doubt within himself
