ذم الشك
الشَّكُّ ثَمَرَةُ الْجَهْلِ
Doubt is the fruit of ignorance

أَذَلُّ النَّاسِ الْمُرْتَابُ
The most abased of people is the sceptic

أَهْلَكُ شَيْءٍ الشَّكُّ وَالِارْتِيَابُ وَأَمْلَكُ شَيْءٍ الْوَرَعُ وَالِاجْتِنَابُ
The most destructive thing is doubt and uncertainty, and the most constructive thing is piety and keeping aloof from sin

دَعْ مَا يُرِيبُكَ إِلَى مَا لَا يُرِيبُكَ
Abandon that which causes you to doubt for that which does not cause you to doubt

شَرُّ الْأُمُورِ أَكْثَرُهَا شَكّاً
The worst matters are those that are the most dubious

مَنْ أَخْيَبُ مِمَّنْ تَعَدَّى الْيَقِينَ إِلَى الشَّكِّ وَالْحَيْرَةِ
Who can be more of a failure than the one who crosses [over] from certainty towards doubt and perplexity?

مِنْ شَقَاءِ الْمَرْءِ أَنْ يُفْسِدَ الشَّكُّ يَقِينَهُ
It is from the wretchedness of a person for his certitude to get corrupted by doubt

مُجَانَبَةُ الرَّيْبِ مِنْ أَحْسَنِ الْفُتُوَّةِ
Keeping away from suspicion is from the best magnanimity
