الصَّدَقَةُ تَقِي مَصَارِعَ السَّوْءِ
Charity protects one from falling into evil

الصَّدَقَةُ فِي السِّرِّ مِنْ أَفْضَلِ الْبِرِّ
Charity given secretly is from the best righteous actions

harity is the greater of the two gains

Charity brings down mercy

الصَّدَقَةُ تَسْتَدْفِعُ الْبَلَاءَ وَالنَّقِمَةَ
Charity repels tribulation and calamity

اسْتَنْزِلُوا الرِّزْقَ بِالصَّدَقَةِ
Make sustenance come down by [giving] charity

إِنَّ أَفْضَلَ الْخَيْرِ صَدَقَةُ السِّرِّ وَبِرُّ الْوَالِدَيْنِ وَصِلَةُ الرَّحِمِ
Indeed the best of good deeds are giving charity anonymously, being good with your parents and keeping ties with near relations

إِذَا رُزِقْتَ فَأَنْفِقْ
When you are blessed with sustenance then give charity

إِذَا أَمْلَقْتُمْ فَتَاجِرُوا اللَّهَ بِالصَّدَقَةِ
When you become penniless then do business with Allah through charity

إِذَا قَدَّمْتَ مَالَكَ لِآخِرَتِكَ وَاسْتَخْلَفْتَ اللَّهَ سُبْحَانَهُ عَلَى مَنْ خَلَّفْتَهُ مِنْ بَعْدِكَ سَعِدْتَ بِمَا قَدَّمْتَ وَأَحْسَنَ اللَّهُ لَكَ الْخِلَافَةَ عَلَى مَنْ خَلَّفْتَ
When you send forth your wealth for your Hereafter and leave [the affair of] your heirs in the hands of Allah, you will be felicitous by that which you have forwarded and Allah will take good care of those whom you leave behind

بِالصَّدَقَةِ تَفْسُحُ الْآجَالُ
Through charity, death gets deferred

بَرَكَةُ الْمَالِ فِي الصَّدَقَةِ
The blessing of wealth is in charity

ثَقِّلُوا مَوَازِينَكُمْ بِالصَّدَقَةِ
Make your weights [of good deeds] heavy with charity

حَصِّنُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ بِالصَّدَقَةِ
Safeguard yourselves through charity

خَيْرُ الصَّدَقَةِ أَخْفَاهَا
The best charity is that which is given most secretly

دِرْهَمُ الْفَقِيرِ أَزْكَى عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ دِينَارِ الْغَنِيِّ
The dirham of a poor man is purer in the sight of Allah than the dinar of the rich

سُوسُوا إِيمَانَكُمْ بِالصَّدَقَةِ
Foster your faith with charity

سُوسُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ بِالْوَرَعِ وَدَاوُوا مَرْضَاكُمْ بِالصَّدَقَةِ
Groom yourselves with piety and cure your sick with charity

صَدَقَةُ السِّرِّ تُكَفِّرُ الْخَطِيئَةَ وَصَدَقَةُ الْعَلَانِيَةِ مَثْرَاةٌ فِي الْمَالِ
Charity given in secret expiates wrongdoings and charity given openly is a means of increasing wealth

صَدَقَةُ الْعَلَانِيَةِ تَدْفَعُ مِيتَةَ السَّوْءِ
Charity given openly repels ill-fated death

عَلَيْكَ بِالصَّدَقَةِ تَنْجُ مِنْ دَنَاءَةِ الشُّحِّ
Give charity and you will be saved from the vileness of parsimony

كَفِّرُوا ذُنُوبَكُمْ وَتَحَبَّبُوا إِلَى رَبِّكُمْ بِالصَّدَقَةِ وَصِلَةِ الرَّحِمِ
Expiate your sins and endear yourselves to your Lord through charity and keeping ties with your near relatives
