الكريم محسن
الْكَرِيمُ مَنْ بَدَأَ بِإِحْسَانِهِ
A noble-minded person is one who initiates his act of kindness [before it is requested of him]

الْكَرِيمُ مَنْ بَذَلَ إِحْسَانَهُ
The munificent person is one who bestows his favours generously [to others]

الْكَرِيمُ مَنْ سَبَقَ نَوَالُهُ سُؤَالَهُ
The munificent person is one whose giving precedes his being asked

ظَفَرُ الْكِرَامِ عَفْوٌ وَإِحْسَانٌ
The success of noble-minded people is [through] forgiveness and benevolence

ظِلُّ الْكِرَامِ رَغَدٌ هَنِيءٌ
The shadow of noble-minded people is vast and pleasant

عَادَةُ الْكِرَامِ حُسْنُ الصَّنِيعَةِ
Doing good to others is the habit of noble-minded people

عُنْوَانُ النُّبْلِ الْإِحْسَانُ إِلَى النَّاسِ
The symbol of nobility is doing good to people

لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ فَضِيلَةٌ وَفَضِيلَةُ الْكِرَامِ اصْطِنَاعُ الرِّجَالِ
Everything has a merit and the merit of the honourable ones is doing good to the people

مَنْ كَثُرَتْ عَوَارِفُهُ أَبَانَ عَنْ كَثْرَةِ نُبْلِهِ
One whose benefactions are abundant demonstrates his great nobility

مَنْ لَمْ يُجَازِ الْإِسَاءَةَ بِالْإِحْسَانِ فَلَيْسَ مِنَ الْكِرَامِ
One who does not recompense offence with favour is not from the noble-minded ones

مِنَ الْكَرَمِ [الكريم] اصْطِنَاعُ الْمَعْرُوفِ وَبَذْلُ الرِّفْدِ
Part of nobleness is doing good to others and granting [them] support

نِظَامُ الْكَرَمِ مُوَالاةُ الْإِحْسَانِ وَمُوَاسَاةُ الْإِخْوَانِ
The order of nobleness entails successively doing good to others and assisting one’s brothers [financially]
