الِاقْتِصَادُ يُنْمِي الْقَلِيلَ
Moderation makes [that which is] little grow [and increase]

خُذِ الْقَصْدَ فِي الْأُمُورِ فَمَنْ أَخَذَ الْقَصْدَ خَفَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمُؤَنُ
Be moderate in [your] affairs, for whoever is moderate, the burden of his expenses is lightened

عَلَيْكَ بِالْقَصْدِ فِي الْأُمُورِ فَمَنْ عَدَلَ عَنِ الْقَصْدِ جَارَ وَمَنْ أَخَذَ بِهِ عَدَلَ
You must be moderate in your affairs, for the one who deviates from moderation is unjust and one who takes to it is just

عَلَيْكَ بِالْقَصْدِ فَإِنَّهُ أَعْوَنُ شَيْءٍ عَلَى حُسْنِ الْعَيْشِ وَلَنْ يَهْلِكَ امْرُؤٌ حَتَّى يُؤْثِرَ شَهْوَتَهُ عَلَى دِينِهِ
Espouse moderation, for indeed it is the most helpful thing in attaining a fruitful life; and a person will never be destroyed until he prefers his lust over his faith

عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْقَصْدِ فِي الْمَطَاعِمِ فَإِنَّهُ أَبْعَدُ مِنَ السَّرَفِ وَأَصَحُّ لِلْبَدَنِ وَأَعْوَنُ عَلَى الْعِبَادَةِ
Espouse moderation in food, for indeed it is farther from extravagance, healthier for the body and more assisting in the performance of worship

مَنْ أَرَادَ السَّلَامَةَ فَعَلَيْهِ بِالْقَصْدِ
One who desires security should adopt moderation

مَنِ اقْتَصَدَ فِي الْغِنَى وَالْفَقْرِ فَقَدِ اسْتَعَدَّ لِنَوَائِبِ الدَّهْرِ
One who is moderate in [both] affluence and poverty has prepared himself for the calamities of time

مَنْ صَحِبَ الِاقْتِصَادَ دَامَتْ صُحْبَةُ الْغِنَى لَهُ وَجَبَرَ الِاقْتِصَادُ فَقْرَهُ وَخَلَلَهُ
Whoever adopts moderation, it will make his prosperity last and will make up for his poverty and deficiency

لَنْ يَهْلِكَ مَنِ اقْتَصَدَ
One who is moderate will never be ruined

لَيْسَ فِي اقْتِصَادٍ تَلَفٌ
There is no wastage in moderation

One who does not practice moderation is ruined by extravagance

There is no ruin with moderation
