حد الحكمة و ثمراتها
حَدُّ الْحِكْمَةِ الْإِعْرَاضُ عَنْ دَارِ الْفَنَاءِ وَالتَّوَلُّهُ بِدَارِ الْبَقَاءِ
The boundary of wisdom is turning away from the perishing abode [of this world] and being infatuated with the Eternal Abode [of the Hereafter]

الْحِكْمَةُ شَجَرَةٌ تَنْبُتُ فِي الْقَلْبِ وَتُثْمِرُ عَلَى اللِّسَانِ
Wisdom is a tree that grows in the heart and bears [its] fruit on the tongue

أَوَّلُ الْحِكْمَةِ تَرْكُ اللَّذَّاتِ وَآخِرُهَا مَقْتُ الْفَانِيَاتِ
The beginning of wisdom is abandoning [worldly] pleasures and its end is loathing the transitory

لَا حِكْمَةَ إِلَّا بِعِصْمَةٍ
There is no wisdom except with safeguarding [from sin]

Wisdom has been paired with protection [from sins]

الْحِكْمَةُ عِصْمَةٌ الْعِصْمَةُ نِعْمَةٌ
Wisdom is protection

ثَمَرَةُ الْحِكْمَةِ الْفَوْزُ
The fruit of wisdom is success

ثَمَرَةُ الْحِكْمَةِ التَّنَزُّهُ عَنِ الدُّنْيَا وَالْوَلَهُ بِجَنَّةِ الْمَأْوَى
The fruit of wisdom is disdain for the world and infatuation with the Eternal Paradise

الْعِلْمُ ثَمَرَةُ الْحِكْمَةِ وَالصَّوَابُ مِنْ فُرُوعِهَا
Knowledge is the fruit of wisdom and rightness is from its branches

بِالْحِكْمَةِ يُكْشَفُ غِطَاءُ الْعِلْمِ
Through wisdom, the veil of knowledge is removed

The wisdom of a lowly person elevates him and the ignorance of a respectable person degrades him
