أهمية الحكمة
الْحِكَمُ [الْحِكْمَةُ] رِيَاضُ النُّبَلَاءِ
Wisdoms are the gardens of the noble ones

الْحِكْمَةُ رَوْضَةُ الْعُقَلَاءِ وَنُزْهَةُ النُّبَلَاءِ
Wisdom is a garden for the intelligent and a promenade for the noble

اسْتَشْعِرِ الْحِكْمَةَ وَتَجَلْبَبِ السَّكِينَةَ فَإِنَّهُمَا حِلْيَةُ الْأَبْرَارِ
Fill your heart with wisdom and don the attire of tranquillity for these two are the ornaments of the virtuous

عَلَيْكَ بِالْحِكْمَةِ فَإِنَّهَا الْحِلْيَةُ الْفَاخِرَةُ
Espouse wisdom, for indeed it is an exquisite ornament

كُلُّ شَيْءٍ يَمَلُّ مَا خَلَا طَرَائِفَ الْحِكَمِ
Everything leads to weariness except novel wisdom

مَنْ لَهِجَ بِالْحِكْمَةِ فَقَدْ شَرَّفَ نَفْسَهُ
One who attaches himself to wisdom has ennobled himself

مِنْ خَزَائِنِ الْغَيْبِ تَظْهَرُ الْحِكْمَةُ
From the treasures of the unseen comes forth wisdom

الْفِكْرُ فِي غَيْرِ الْحِكْمَةِ هَوَسٌ
Thinking outside [the bounds of] wisdom is folly

لَا تَسْكُنُ الْحِكْمَةُ قَلْباً مَعَ شَهْوَةٍ
Wisdom does not reside in a heart [that is filled] with lust

إِنَّ كَلَامَ الْحَكِيمِ إِذَا كَانَ صَوَاباً كَانَ دَوَاءً وَإِذَا كَانَ خَطَأً كَانَ دَاءً
Indeed the speech of a wise person, when it is correct, is a cure and when it is wrong, is a malady
