بالتفكر يؤمن الزلل
الْفِكْرُ فِي الْأَمْرِ قَبْلَ مُلَابَسَتِهِ يُؤْمِنُ الزَّلَلَ
Thinking about a matter before undertaking it saves one from error

الْفِكْرُ يُوجِبُ الِاعْتِبَارَ وَيُؤْمِنُ الْعِثَارَ وَيُثْمِرُ الِاسْتِظْهَارَ
Thinking leads to taking lesson, saves one from missteps and bears the fruit of precaution

أَصْلُ السَّلَامَةِ مِنَ الزَّلَلِ الْفِكْرُ قَبْلَ الْفِعْلِ وَالرَّوِيَّةُ قَبْلَ الْكَلَامِ
The root of safety from error is thinking before acting, and reflecting before speaking

دَعِ الْحِدَّةَ وَتَفَكَّرْ فِي الْحُجَّةِ وَتَحَفَّظْ مِنَ الْخَطَلِ تَأْمَنِ الزَّلَلَ
Repel [your] rage, think about the proof and protect yourself from nonsense you will be safe from slip-ups

دَوَامُ الْفِكْرِ وَالْحَذَرِ يُؤْمِنُ الزَّلَلَ وَيُنْجِي مِنَ الْغِيَرِ
Continuous reflection and caution protects from error and saves from the vicissitudes of time

صَوَابُ الرَّأْيِ يُؤْمِنُ الزَّلَلَ
Correct opinion saves [one] from errors

فَكِّرْ ثُمَّ تَكَلَّمْ تَسْلَمْ مِنَ الزَّلَلِ
Think and then speak, [for by this] you will remain safe from error
