حُسْنُ الزُّهْدِ مِنْ أَفْضَلِ الْإِيمَانِ وَ[حُسْنُ] الرَّغْبَةِ فِي الدُّنْيَا تُفْسِدُ الْإِيقَانَ
Complete renunciation of worldly pleasures is from the best [act of] faith while desire for this world corrupts conviction

خَيْرُ النَّاسِ مَنْ زَهِدَتْ نَفْسُهُ وَقَلَّتْ رَغْبَتُهُ وَمَاتَتْ شَهْوَتُهُ وَخَلَصَ إِيمَانُهُ وَصَدَقَ إِيقَانُهُ
The best person is one whose soul is uninterested in worldly pleasures, whose desire is less, whose lust is dead, whose faith is pure and whose certitude is true
