مدح الناصح
مَنْ نَصَحَكَ أَشْفَقَ عَلَيْكَ
One who gives you sincere advice has shown concern for you

مَنْ تَاجَرَكَ بِالنُّصْحِ فَقَدْ أَجْزَلَ لَكَ الرِّبْحَ
One who trades with you by [giving you] advice has indeed made your profit abound

مَنْ تَاجَرَكَ فِي النُّصْحِ كَانَ شَرِيكَكَ فِي الرِّبْحِ
One who trades with you in advice is your partner in profit

مَا أَخْلَصَ الْمَوَدَّةَ مَنْ لَمْ يَنْصَحْ
One who does not give good advice is not sincere in his friendship

مَا أَلَاكَ جُهْداً فِي النَّصِيحَةِ مَنْ دَلَّكَ عَلَى عَيْبِكَ وَحَفِظَ غَيْبَكَ
He who points you to your faults and guards [your honour in] your absence has spared no efforts in advising you

مُنَاصِحُكَ مُشْفِقٌ عَلَيْكَ مُحْسِنٌ إِلَيْكَ نَاظِرٌ فِي عَوَاقِبِكَ مُسْتَدْرِكٌ فَوَارِطَكَ فَفِي طَاعَتِهِ رَشَادُكَ وَفِي مُخَالَفَتِهِ فَسَادُكَ
Your sincere adviser is concerned about you, shows kindness to you, considers your outcomes and rectifies of your shortcomings; so in obedience to him lies your development and in opposition to him, your corruption
