الِاسْتِغْفَارُ يَمْحُو الْأَوْزَارَ
Seeking forgiveness wipes out [one’s] sins

الِاسْتِغْفَارُ دَوَاءُ الذُّنُوبِ
Seeking forgiveness is the remedy of sins

الْمُؤْمِنُ مُنِيبٌ مُسْتَغْفِرٌ تَوَّابٌ
A believer is penitent, repentant and remorseful

الِاسْتِغْفَارُ أَعْظَمُ جَزَاءً [أَجْراً] وَأَسْرَعُ مَثُوبَةً
Seeking forgiveness has the greatest recompense and the quickest reward

اسْتَغْفِرْ تُرْزَقْ
Seek forgiveness and you will be provided sustenance

أَفْضَلُ التَّوَسُّلِ الِاسْتِغْفَارُ
The best supplication (or means of coming closer to Allah) is seeking forgiveness

إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ بَيْنَ نِعْمَةٍ وَذَنْبٍ لَا يُصْلِحُهُمَا إِلَّا الِاسْتِغْفَارُ وَالشُّكْرُ
Verily the servant is [always] between blessing and sin, [and] nothing rectifies [or improves] them except repentance and gratitude

حُسْنُ الِاسْتِغْفَارِ يُمَحِّصُ الذُّنُوبَ
Sincere repentance purges one’s sins

سِلَاحُ الْمُذْنِبِ الِاسْتِغْفَارُ
A sinner who confesses his sin is better than the obedient one who is proud of his action

عَجِبْتُ لِمَنْ يَقْنَطُ وَمَعَهُ النَّجَاةُ وَهُوَ الِاسْتِغْفَارُ
I am amazed at the one who loses hope while he has with him salvation in the form of repentance

مَنْ أُعْطِيَ الِاسْتِغْفَارَ لَمْ يُحْرَمِ الْمَغْفِرَةَ
One who has been granted [the opportunity to seek] repentance shall not be deprived of forgiveness

مَنِ اسْتَغْفَرَ اللَّهَ أَصَابَ الْمَغْفِرَةَ
One who seeks forgiveness from Allah attains absolution

نِعْمَ الْوَسِيلَةُ الِاسْتِغْفَارُ
What a good means [of gaining the pleasure of Allah] seeking forgiveness is!

There is no intercessor more successful than repentance
