الجزاء بالعمل
أَعْمَالُ الْعِبَادِ فِي الدُّنْيَا نُصْبُ أَعْيُنِهِمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ
The actions of servants in this world are [brought] before their eyes in the Hereafter

اعْمَلُوا لِيَوْمٍ تَذَّخَرُ لَهُ الذَّخَائِرُ وَتُبْلَى فِيهِ السَّرَائِرُ
Work for the day for which the provisions have been stored and in which the secrets will be revealed

إِنَّكُمْ بِأَعْمَالِكُمْ مُجَازَوْنَ وَبِهَا مُرْتَهَنُونَ
Verily you are recompensed for your deeds and held hostage by them

بِالْعَمَلِ تَحْصُلُ الْجَنَّةُ لَا بِالْأَمَلِ
It is through action that Paradise is achieved, not through hope

طَلَبُ الْجَنَّةِ بِلَا عَمَلٍ حُمْقٌ
Seeking Paradise without good deeds is foolishness

طَلَبُ الْمَرَاتِبِ وَالدَّرَجَاتِ بِغَيْرِ عَمَلٍ جَهْلٌ
Seeking lofty stations and ranks without any action is folly

فِي الْعَمَلِ لِدَارِ الْبَقَاءِ إِدْرَاكُ الْفَلَاحِ
In working for the permanent abode there is attainment of prosperity

لَنْ يَفُوزَ بِالْجَنَّةِ إِلَّا السَّاعِي لَهَا
None will be victorious in attaining Paradise except the one who works hard for it

لَنْ يَنْجُوَ مِنَ النَّارِ إِلَّا التَّارِكُ عَمَلَهَا
None will be saved from the fire of hell except the one who abandons its actions [iethe actions that lead to it]

لَا تَكُنْ مِمَّنْ يَرْجُو الْآخِرَةَ بِغَيْرِ عَمَلٍ وَيُسَوِّفُ التَّوْبَةَ بِطُولِ الْأَمَلِ يَقُولُ فِي الدُّنْيَا بِقَوْلِ الزَّاهِدِينَ وَيَعْمَلُ فِيهَا بِعَمَلِ الرَّاغِبِينَ
Do not be one of those who hopes for the Hereafter without working [for it], and postpones repentance with long hopes; one who speaks in this world with the words of those who are indifferent [to its pleasures] but acts in it with the actions of the desirous

اعْمَلْ عَمَلَ مَنْ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّ اللَّهَ مُجَازِيهِ بِإِسَاءَتِهِ وَإِحْسَانِهِ
Act like one who knows that Allah will surely recompense him for his evil and good deeds
