دارسة العلم
غَنِيمَةُ الْأَكْيَاسِ مُدَارَسَةُ الْحِكْمَةِ
The prize of the sagacious is learning wisdom

لَنْ يُحْرِزَ الْعِلْمَ إِلَّا مَنْ يُطِيلُ دَرْسَهُ
The language of knowledge is truthfulness

لِقَاحُ الْمَعْرِفَةِ دِرَاسَةُ الْعِلْمِ
The conception of cognizance is through learning knowledge

مَنْ أَكْثَرَ مُدَارَسَةَ الْعِلْمِ لَمْ يَنْسَ مَا عَلِمَ وَاسْتَفَادَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ
One who increases his study of knowledge [and discussion about what he has learnt] does not forget what he knows and benefits from it that which he does not know

مُدَارَسَةُ الْعِلْمِ لَذَّةُ الْعُلَمَاءِ
Gatherings of knowledge are a bounty

مُنَاقَشَةُ الْعُلَمَاءِ تُنْتِجُ فَوَائِدَهُمْ وَتَكْسِبُ فَضَائِلَهُمْ
The competition (or argumentation) of the scholars results in their gaining benefit and their earning merits

لَا فِقْهَ لِمَنْ لَا يُدِيمُ الدَّرْسَ
One who does not continue his study does not acquire deep understanding [of his subject]

لَا يُحْرِزُ الْعِلْمَ إِلَّا مَنْ يُطِيلُ دَرْسَهُ
None will attain knowledge except the one who lengthens his [period of] study
