خير الأعمال
أَفْضَلُ الْأَعْمَالِ مَا أُكْرِهَتِ النُّفُوسُ عَلَيْهَا
The best of deeds is that which people compel themselves to do

أَحْسَنُ الْفِعْلِ [الْعَقْلِ] الْكَفُّ عَنِ الْقَبِيحِ
The best of actions is restraining oneself from evil

أَفْضَلُ الْأَعْمَالِ لُزُومُ الْحَقِّ
The best of actions is espousing the truth

أَحْسَنُ الْأَفْعَالِ مَا وَافَقَ الْحَقَّ وَأَفْضَلُ الْمَقَالِ مَا طَابَقَ الصِّدْقَ
The best of actions is that which corresponds to the truth, and the best speech is that which matches with the facts

خَيْرُ أَعْمَالِكَ مَا قَضَى فَرْضَكَ
The best of your deeds are those that fulfil your duty

خَيْرُ الْأَعْمَالِ مَا اكْتَسَبَ [أَكْسَبَ] شُكْراً
The best of actions is that which earns gratitude

خَيْرُ الْأُمُورِ مَا أَدَّى إِلَى الْخَلَاصِ
The best matters are those which lead to deliverance [from hellfire]

خَيْرُ الْأَعْمَالِ مَا أَصْلَحَ الدِّينَ
The best of actions is that which rectifies the faith

خَيْرُ الْأَعْمَالِ مَا زَانَهُ الرِّفْقُ
The best of deeds is that which is adorned by kindness

خَيْرُ الْأَعْمَالِ مَا قَضَى اللَّوَازِمَ
The best of actions is that which fulfils the requirements

خَيْرُ عَمَلِكَ مَا أَصْلَحْتَ بِهِ يَوْمَكَ وَشَرُّهُ مَا اسْتَفْسَدْتَ بِهِ قَوْمَكَ
Your best action is that by which you improve your day [of reckoning] and the worst [of your actions] is that by which you corrupt your community

خَيْرُ الْأَعْمَالِ اعْتِدَالُ الرَّجَاءِ وَالْخَوْفِ
The best action is maintaining a balance between hope and fear

مِنْ أَفْضَلِ الْأَعْمَالِ مَا أَوْجَبَ الْجَنَّةَ وَأَنْجَى مِنَ النَّارِ
From the best actions is that which leads to Paradise and saves from hellfire

لَا عَمَلَ كَالتَّحْقِيقِ
There is no action like verification

لَا يَقِلُّ عَمَلٌ مَعَ تَقْوَى وَكَيْفَ يَقِلُّ مَا يُتَقَبَّلُ
Action with God-wariness is never little, and how can something that is accepted [by Allah] be [considered] little!

لَا خَيْرَ فِي عَمَلٍ إِلَّا مَعَ الْيَقِينِ وَالْوَرَعِ
There is no good in an act except with certitude and piety
