فضيلة الرضا بالقضاء
أَعْلَمُ النَّاسِ بِاللَّهِ أَرْضَاهُمْ بِقَضَائِهِ
The most learned of people about Allah, the Glorified, are the most satisfied with His decree

إِنْ عَقَدْتَ إِيمَانَكَ فَارْضَ بِالْمَقْضِيِّ عَلَيْكَ وَلَا تَرْجُ أَحَداً إِلَّا اللَّهَ سُبْحَانَهُ وَانْتَظِرْ مَا أَتَاكَ بِهِ الْقَدَرُ
If you have made a covenant [to believe in Allah] then be satisfied with that which has been decreed against you and for you, and do not have hope in anyone other than Allah, the Glorified, and await that which is brought to you by [divine] decree

شَرُّ الْأُمُورِ السَّخَطُ [التَّسَخُّطُ] لِلْقَضَاءِ
The worst of things is displeasure with the divine decree

مَنْ لَمْ يَرْضَ بِالْقَضَاءِ دَخَلَ الْكُفْرُ دِينَهُ
Whoever is not satisfied with the decree [of Allah], disbelief seeps into his religion

مَا دَفَعَ اللَّهُ سُبْحَانَهُ عَنِ الْمُؤْمِنِ شَيْئاً مِنْ بَلَاءِ الدُّنْيَا وَعَذَابِ الْآخِرَةِ إِلَّا بِرِضَاهُ بِقَضَائِهِ وَحُسْنِ صَبْرِهِ عَلَى بَلَائِهِ
Allah, the Glorified, does not repel any of the afflictions of this world and chastisements of the Hereafter from the believer except because of his satisfaction with His decree and his good patience in the face of His trials

إِنَّ مَنْ شَغَلَ نَفْسَهُ بِالْمَفْرُوضِ عَلَيْهِ عَنِ الْمَضْمُونِ لَهُ وَرَضِيَ بِالْمَقُدورِ عَلَيْهِ وَلَهُ كَانَ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ سَلَامَةً فِي عَافِيَةٍ وَرِبْحاً فِي غِبْطَةٍ وَغَنِيمَةً فِي مَسَرَّةٍ
Verily whoever busies himself with what is obligatory upon him instead of that which has been guaranteed for him, and is satisfied with what has been decreed for and against him; he will be the healthiest person in wellbeing, the most profiting from felicity and the most benefitting from happiness

كُنْ أَبَداً رَاضِياً بِمَا يَأْتِي بِهِ الْقَدَرُ
Always be pleased with what is brought by [divine] decree

مَنْ تَسَخَّطَ بِالْمَقُدورِ حَلَّ بِهِ الْمَحْذُورُ
Whoever is displeased with what has been destined, adversity befalls him

مَنْ أَيْقَنَ بِالْقَدَرِ لَمْ يَكْتَرِثْ بِمَا نَابَهُ
One who is certain about destiny is not disturbed by what befalls him

مَنْ رَضِيَ بِالْقَدَرِ لَمْ يَكْرُثْهُ الْحَذَرُ
One who is pleased with what has been destined [for him] is not troubled by warning

مِنْ أَفْضَلِ الْإِيمَانِ الرِّضَا بِمَا يَأْتِي بِهِ الْقَدَرُ
From the most excellent faith is being pleased with whatever [divine] decree brings

الرِّضَا يَنْفِي الْحُزْنَ
Satisfaction dispels sadness

الرِّضَا ثَمَرَةُ الْيَقِينِ
Satisfaction [with the decree of Allah] is the fruit of certitude

الدِّينُ شَجَرَةٌ أَصْلُهَا التَّسْلِيمُ وَالرِّضَا
Religion is a tree whose roots are submission and contentment

أَجْدَرُ الْأَشْيَاءِ بِصِدْقِ الْإِيمَانِ الرِّضَا وَالتَّسْلِيمُ
The thing which is most befitting of true faith is being satisfied [with what has been decrees] and total submission [to Allah]

رَأْسُ الطَّاعَةِ الرِّضَا
The pinnacle of worship is satisfaction [with the decree of Allah]

رَزَانَةُ الْعَقْلِ تُخْتَبَرُ فِي الرِّضَا [فِي الْفَرَجِ] وَالْحُزْنِ
The staidness of the intellect is put to the test in times of happiness and sadness

عَلَيْكَ بِالرِّضَا فِي الشِّدَّةِ وَالرَّخَاءِ
Remain satisfied in times of difficulty and ease

غَايَةُ الدِّينِ الرِّضَا
The height of religion is satisfaction [with the decree of Allah]

كُنْ رَاضِياً تَكُنْ مَرْضِيّاً
Be pleased [with Allah’s decree] and He will be pleased with you

مَنْ لَمْ يَصْلُحْ عَلَى اخْتِيَارِ اللَّهِ [لَهُ] لَمْ يَصْلُحْ عَلَى اخْتِيَارِهِ لِنَفْسِهِ [نَفْسَهُ]
Whoever does not get reformed by that which Allah has chosen [for him] will not be reformed by what he chooses for himself

نِعْمَ قَرِينُ الْإِيمَانِ الرِّضَا
What a good companion of faith satisfaction is!

There is no submission like satisfaction [with what has been decreed]
