ثمرة العلم العمل به
الْعَالِمُ مَنْ شَهِدَتْ بِصِحَّةِ أَقْوَالِهِ أَفْعَالُهُ
The scholar is one whose actions attest to the veracity of his words

الْعِلْمُ مَقْرُونٌ بِالْعَمَلِ فَمَنْ عَلِمَ عَمِلَ
Knowledge is linked to action, so one who knows, acts

الْعِلْمُ يَهْتِفُ بِالْعَمَلِ فَإِنْ أَجَابَهُ وَإِلَّا ارْتَحَلَ
Knowledge calls out to action, so if it responds to it [then it stays] otherwise it departs

الْعِلْمُ يُرْشِدُكَ وَالْعَمَلُ يَبْلُغُ بِكَ الْغَايَةَ
Knowledge guides you and action takes you to the goal

اعْمَلْ بِالْعِلْمِ تُدْرِكْ غُنْماً
Act upon [your] knowledge and you will attain [great] benefit

أَطِعِ الْعِلْمَ وَاعْصِ الْجَهْلَ تُفْلِحْ
Obey knowledge and disobey ignorance, [for by doing this] you will be successful

اعْمَلُوا بِالْعِلْمِ تَسْعَدُوا
Act upon [your] knowledge and you will be felicitous

اطْلُبُوا الْعِلْمَ تُعْرَفُوا بِهِ وَاعْمَلُوا بِهِ تَكُونُوا مِنْ أَهْلِهِ
Gain knowledge and you will be known by it, act upon it and you will be one of its worthy possessors

أَنْفَعُ الْعِلْمِ مَا عُمِلَ بِهِ
The most useful knowledge is that which is acted upon

أَحْسَنُ الْعِلْمِ مَا كَانَ مَعَ الْعَمَلِ
The most honourable knowledge is that which is manifested in the organs and limbs

أَشْرَفُ الْعِلْمِ مَا ظَهَرَ فِي الْجَوَارِحِ وَالْأَرْكَانِ
The lowliest knowledge is that which stops at the tongue [and is not acted upon]

أَفْضَلُ الذَّخَائِرِ عِلْمٌ يُعْمَلُ بِهِ [عُمِلَ بِهِ] وَمَعْرُوفٌ لَا يُمَنُّ بِهِ
The best of (all) savings is knowledge that is acted upon and good that is not followed by obligation

أَوْجَبُ الْعِلْمِ عَلَيْكَ مَا أَنْتَ مَسْئُولٌ عَنِ الْعَمَلِ بِهِ
The most obligatory knowledge for you [to acquire] is that which you are responsible for acting upon

أَحْمَدُ الْعِلْمِ عَاقِبَةً مَا زَادَ فِي عَمَلِكَ فِي الْعَاجِلِ وَأَزْلَفَكَ فِي الْآجِلِ
Verily the best of knowledge is [that which leads to] tranquillity and forbearance

إِذَا رُمْتُمُ الِانْتِفَاعَ بِالْعِلْمِ فَاعْمَلُوا بِهِ وَأَكْثِرُوا الْفِكْرَ فِي مَعَانِيهِ تَعِهِ الْقُلُوبُ
When the knowledge of a person increases, his etiquette improves and his awe for his Lord increases

تَمَامُ الْعِلْمِ اسْتِعْمَالُهُ
The completeness of knowledge is [in] acting according to it

تَمَامُ الْعِلْمِ الْعَمَلُ بِمُوجِبِهِ
The one who forsakes acting on [his] knowledge is not certain of getting reward for his action

تَعَلَّمُوا الْعِلْمَ تُعْرَفُوا بِهِ وَاعْمَلُوا بِهِ تَكُونُوا مِنْ أَهْلِهِ
Gain knowledge and you will be known by it, act upon it and you will be one of its worthy possessors

ثَمَرَةُ الْعِلْمِ الْعَمَلُ بِهِ
The fruit of knowledge is working for [a blissful] life [in the Hereafter]

ثَمَرَةُ الْعِلْمِ الْعَمَلُ لِلْحَيَاةِ
The fruit of knowledge is sincerity of action

جَمَالُ الْعَالِمِ عَمَلُهُ بِعِلْمِهِ
The beauty of a scholar is [in] his acting upon his knowledge

عَلَى الْعَالِمِ أَنْ يَعْمَلَ بِمَا عَلِمَ ثُمَّ يَطْلُبَ تَعَلُّمَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ
It is the duty of the scholar to act upon what he knows and then seek to learn that which he does not know

مَنْ خَالَفَ عِلْمَهُ عَظُمَتْ جَرِيمَتُهُ وَإِثْمُهُ
One whose knowledge exceeds his intellect, it becomes a burden for him

مِنْ كَمَالِ الْعِلْمِ الْعَمَلُ بِمَا يَقْتَضِيهِ
From the most honourable of knowledge is self-adornment with forbearance

مِنْ فَضْلِ عِلْمِكَ اسْتِقْلَالُكَ لِعِلْمِكَ [مِنْ أَفْضَلِ الْعِلْمِ اسْتِقْلَالُكَ بِعَمَلِكَ]
Considering your knowledge (or action) as little is from the excellence of your knowledge
