الرَّجَاءُ لِرَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ أَنْجَحُ
Hope in the mercy of Allah brings more success

أَعْظَمُ الْبَلَاءِ انْقِطَاعُ الرَّجَاءِ
The greatest affliction is the severance of hope

أَفْضَلُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ إِسْلَاماً مَنْ كَانَ هَمُّهُ لِأُخْرَاهُ وَاعْتَدَلَ خَوْفُهُ وَرَجَاهُ
The best of all Muslims in practicing Islam is he whose efforts are for his Hereafter and whose fear [of Allah’s wrath] is balanced with his hope [in His mercy]

إِذَا أَرَادَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ لَا يَسْأَلَ اللَّهَ سُبْحَانَهُ شَيْئاً إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ فَلْيَيْئَسْ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَلَا يَكُونُ لَهُ رَجَاءٌ إِلَّا اللَّهَ سُبْحَانَهُ
If any one of you wishes that he should never ask Allah, the Glorified, for anything but that He grants it to him, then he should lose hope in people and should not have hope in anyone other than Allah, the Glorified

جَارُ اللَّهِ سُبْحَانَهُ آمِنٌ وَعَدُوُّهُ خَائِفٌ
One who is close to Allah is safe, while [one who is] His enemy is frightened

حُسْنُ الظَّنِّ أَنْ تُخْلِصَ الْعَمَلَ وَتَرْجُوَ مِنَ اللَّهِ أَنْ يَعْفُوَ عَنِ الزَّلَلِ
Thinking positive means making your actions sincere and hoping that Allah will forgive your missteps

رُبَّ آمِنٍ وَجِلٌ
Many a person who is secure gets frightened

رُبَّ رَجَاءٍ يُؤَدِّي إِلَى حِرْمَانٍ
Many a hope leads to deprivation

رُبَّ خَوْفٍ يَعُودُ بِالْأَمَانِ
Many a fear turns into security

قَتَلَ الْقُنُوطُ صَاحِبَهُ
Despair kills its owner

كُنْ لِمَا لَا تَرْجُو أَقْرَبَ مِنْكَ لِمَا تَرْجُو
Be closer to that which you do not hope for than [you are to] that which you hope for

كَمَا تَرْجُو خَفْ
Just as you hope, fear

مَنْ حَسُنَ يَقِينُهُ يَرْجُ
One whose certitude is firm, has hope

مَنْ يَكُنِ اللَّهُ أَمَلَهُ يُدْرِكْ غَايَةَ الْأَمَلِ وَالرَّجَاءِ [وَ نِهَايَةَ الرَّجَاءِ]
One whose hope is [to reach] Allah, shall realize the fulfilment of his hope and aspiration

مَنْ جَعَلَ اللَّهَ سُبْحَانَهُ مَوْئِلَ رَجَائِهِ كَفَاهُ أَمْرَ دِينِهِ وَدُنْيَاهُ
Whoever makes Allah, the Glorified, the refuge of his hopes, He will suffice him in his religious and worldly affairs

مَنْ أَيْقَنَ رَجَا
One who has certitude is hopeful

لَا تَرْجُ إِلَّا رَبَّكَ
Do not have hope [or expectation] except from your Lord

يَنْبَغِي لِمَنْ عَرَفَ اللَّهَ سُبْحَانَهُ أَنْ لَا يَخْلُوَ قَلْبُهُ مِنْ رَجَائِهِ وَخَوْفِهِ
It behoves the one who is cognizant of Allah, the Glorified, not to make his heart devoid of hope in Him and fear of Him

الْإِخْلَاصُ غَايَةُ الدِّينِ
Sincerity is the goal of religion

الْإِخْلَاصُ أَعْلَى الْإِيمَانِ
Sincerity is the highest [level of] faith

زِينَةُ الْقُلُوبِ إِخْلَاصُ الْإِيمَانِ
The adornment of the hearts is sincerity of faith

عَلَيْكُمْ بِإِخْلَاصِ الْإِيمَانِ فَإِنَّهُ السَّبِيلُ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ وَالنَّجَاةُ مِنَ النَّارِ
Make your faith sincere, for this is the path to Paradise and safety from hellfire

مَا ارْتَابَ مُخْلِصٌ وَلَا شَكَّ مُوقِنٌ
The sincere one is not suspicious and the one who is certain does not doubt

التَّوْحِيدُ حَيَاةُ النَّفْسِ
Belief in the oneness of Allah enlivens the soul

كُلُّ عَزِيزٍ غَيْرُ اللَّهِ سُبْحَانَهُ ذَلِيلٌ
Every honoured other than Allah is a inferior

مَنْ تَعَزَّزَ بِاللَّهِ لَمْ يُذِلَّ سُلْطَانٌ
One who is given honour by Allah cannot be humiliated by any king
